I sure am glad to have a notebook computer with an air card. Otherwise I'd feel deprived today.
Sometime this morning our DSL service went out ("areawide issue") and when I called all they could tell me was that the target restoration time is 10:15 tonight. Yikes, almost a whole day.
When I travel, I use my air card to post and read other posts on Active Rain, but that's to be expected. However, I hadn't counted on "roughing it" today with my backup plan. Oh well, at least I had one.
