Another Strike Against Health Care

So far, the national health care act, dubbed "Obamacare," has been upheld a coup[le of times and been declared unconstitutional as well.

Today, the 11th District Court of Appeals in Atlanta upheld the Florida judge who ruled that the individual mandate provision - the central provision of the bill - is unconstitutional. He ruled the rest of the bill could stand - unusual since the bill has no severability clause. One sentence fails, the entire bill is lost.

This is great news for us who find the bill unconstitutional on many grounds including the fact that Congress overstepped its authority is declaring this is covered by the interstate commerce authority - which clearly it is not.

Next stop, US Supreme Court.
