Where else can you do you job so poorly that less than 1 person in 10 think you are doing it well?
Where else can you get extensive scheduled vacations and take off other days at will?
Where else can you travel the globe at the public's expense?
Where else are you paid to make decisions but you get a pass if you don't?
Where else do you get to set your own salary and get automatic 2.2% increases every year?
Where else but the U.S. Congress!
That's right, in addition to lack of work product and the extensive time-off and so many other perks, Congress actually gets an automatic 2.2% "cost of living" increase each year - unless they specifically vote to cancel it - something they apparently did annually by tradition until 2000. But not this year!
