Kudos to the Florida Legislature.
I mentioned yesterday that they had been called into session by Charlie Crist in his attempt to get the people of Florida to ban offshore drilling in the November election.
I suggested that they just adjourn and not take action.
They did just that.
In a record 51 minutes, the House and Senate voted to adjourn and take no action.
This is a victory for the residents and the economy of Florida and a setback for the Governor.
