After 20 seasons and hundreds of convictions, the verdict is in and it is against the renewal of "Law & Order" the TV series.
A show so popular that it has spun off two successful shows ("SVU" and "CI") and a couple that didn't make it.
With syndications and reruns, there will likely always be a "Law & Order" episode playing someplace each day, but there won't be any new ones - unless they get a reprieve.
