Have you seen the new $5 bill yet? I hadn't until the other day. Didn't even know about it. It looks like a mistake.
In addition to everything else they've been doing to the currency, including imbedding phrases and changing and adding images on the face, now they turned to the obverse (that's money talk for the back).
In the lower right hand corner is large, 1" tall (72 point) "5" - and if that wasn't enough its kind of a pale magenta color.
When I got it in change, I remarked how somebody had colored in the "5" with a marker - only to be told that was intentional. Think I'll start a set. I wonder which color is being issued next.
