Today, the President, visibly angry about the Senate's rejection of his bold spending package (labled a Jobs Bill), has made it known that he doesn't need Congress to make the laws - he'll do it himself. While this is nothing new - his Executive Orders have been writing rules and regulations as laws for his entire term. The EPA, DOE, NLRB, AG, Homeland Security, and many other agencies write their own laws and just run with them.
This President has disdain for separation of powers and now that Pelosi and Reid can't pass everything he wants, he is going to keep Congress out of the loop and make his own laws. Certainly not what the Founders wanted, but what they feared.
