Attention Realtors and coffee drinkers - a win-win

It’s hard to beat a good cup of coffee – now mind you, I’m a purist here – no decaf, no sweetener, no milk – just coffee. I will drink an occasional hazelnut or other flavor, but mostly keep it simple.

I have experimented over the years with several brewing systems and coffee makers – including grinding my own beans before brewing. Price to me doesn’t seem to the big factor in the taste although consistency is. It’s hard to always measure the exact same amount. For this reason, I use the Keurig single cup (K-cup) system, but’s that just me. This post is not about how you brew the coffee as much as it is how you serve it.

Plastic cups, glass mugs, aluminum or stainless steel travel mugs, paper cups, foam cups – even ceramic mugs leave something to be desired.

After years of being without one, I finally latched onto an old-fashioned barbershop-style thick white coffee mug (pictured here) – you know, the ones that won’t break if you drop them – or maybe they’ll just slightly crack?

So, after my first cup of coffee in my new mug, I determined that the cup has a whole lot to do with the flavor, and this is now my mug of choice. I wouldn’t have waited so long had I known it would make this much difference.

And here’s the best part – it was free. Realtors and new home marketers pay attention. I got this at a Realtor expo. People are always looking for giveaways – well here’s a great one. The other side of the mug is printed.

What a great way to stay in front of your customers!
