This is really getting out of hand. The talk about climate change and global warming has gone on for too long and now is starting to have serious financial implications. It's time to end the hoax and all the expense that it has caused - and that it is poised to cause.
The EPA recently usurped constitutional authority and did an endrun around the Congress. It is enacting part of the non-approved cap and trade legislation as if it already had been passed. We'll have to see what restrictions they will attempt to put on our lives and at what cost.
Then there's the Conference next week in Denmark with all its limos, private jets, and opulent display of hypocritical non-environmentally friendly behavior by the heads of State and other dignataries. But that's really OK because there is no global warning. It just something Al Gore and his friends made up to distract us and drain a huge amount of money from the economies of world nations.
In fact, the European Union (EU), under extortion-type pressure from poorer countries of the word, has pledged $3 billion to help them deal with climate change. This means that hundreds of millions of dollars are going to be taken from the economies of England, France and other nations that already have fiscal issues. Foreign aid is fine is used for real need - not something contrived.
Now, these nations want all of the richer nations - including the United States - to fund them with an unseemly amount of money - billions and billions per year (including what the EU has already pledged).
Ask any school kid about global warming. They know that it is a fact and that it dangerous, They know more about it than they do the founding of this country. Their teachers have managed to scare most of them into actually believing this nonsense.
To set the record straight, it is not a fact and never has been. Sun spots and other phenomenon impact vagaries in the temperature and climate.
Did you know that we are now in a cooling cycle where annual temperatures are declining?
We did not become a wealthy county by falling for foolish schemes although we might become a poorer one if we continue such actions.
