I was in Costco and Sams a couple of weeks ago and saw decorated Christmas trees for sale as well as ornaments and gift collections (candy, etc.). Same for Cracker Barrel. OK, they are trying to sell the season, sell Christmas trees, decorations, and the like - even if this was before Halloween.
But now that Halloween is over, the Christmas season seems to have gone into full swing. Tonight I heard Christmas carols - the real ones, not Jingle Bells - played over the sound system in Walmart.
Can the arrival of Santa be that far behind?
Kind of makes Thanksgiving parades with Santa's big arrival a little anti-climatic, doesn't it?
