Succeeding in business on purpose

We've all done something by accident. Sometimes the outcomes were good. Sometimes, they weren't. Sometimes we lucked out.

While is nice to succeed or come out on top - even when it wasn't the precise plan, it's also nice to be intentional. To do things on purpose. To mean to do something. To take responsibility for our actions and their outcome.

I'm talking only sales and marketing here - not other areas of our lives (although it's certainly nice to be intentional there as well). I'm talking about being intentional in the way we plan our calendar, work our day, set our appointments, make our presentations, maintain contact with our customers, show property, foster relationships, promote our brand, establish our reputation, forge our image, and create our following.

We ultimately have the power to impact our business in these areas by maintaining focus and being intentional. Let's do it.
