Springtime Is Running Out

I hope there was nothing that I had to get done during the spring this year because I've missed my chance. In 2 hours, the calendar officially turns over to summer, and spring won't come rolling around again until after we've had all our summer fun and vacations, back to school, football, cooler weather, fall foliage, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, cold weather, and possibly snow (depending on where you live).

There's something special about spring for signaling the end to winter and providing hope and new life. Hold onto that thought until next March.

Summer is great, too. Warm weather - sometimes just plain hot - more daylight, shorts, tee-shirts, sandals, the beach, no coats or jackets, air conditioning, convertibles, biking, baseball, and so many other things that typify summer.

Summertime can mean kick-back, lazy times also, but we can't afford that this year. We need to pull out all the stops during the next few months and do all that we can to prosper. Summer is the peak growing season for our grass, plants, and vegetables. Let's have it be the same for our businesses.
