Back when Henry Ford started revolutionizing the auto industry with the manufacturing of his Model T, he reportedly told consumers that they could have any car color that they wanted - as long as it was black.
Now, California is reversing that thinking and considering a proposal that come 2012 would make any car color except black (and maybe some other dark colors as well) acceptable.
Ford did it for economic reasons. California says it is considering it for energy reasons.
What does this do for basic black? Classic black?
