On Wednesday, I posted a tribute to myself and all others who are 5'7" on the occasion of the day being "5/7" (May 7th). I received some wonderful comments, and a few "short" jokes - but that's to be expected (it's fine really). Well, it's a good thing some of us are short. Yesterday I was on a 737 plane with 3 seats to a side. I sat down by the window, and a fellow who is 6'7" (an entire foot taller than me) sat down in the aisle seat. Then, because the flight was 100% full, the middle seat was occupied - by a man 6'10"! So you see, by my relatively small stature, I made it more comfortable for my seatmates.
