Air traffic controllers are the highest paid government workers, making over $160,000 a year. They adjust their shifts so that they get 3, 4, or even 5 days off in a row. They complain about how stressful their job is, but no one forced them to take it.
Now because many of them have been falling asleep on the job (because they are so worn out from their extended days off) - a reason for immediate, on-the-spot dismissal in most companies - their union wants them to have scheduled naps.
I can see it now. Everyone will come to work with their own little nap mat and blanket - just like kindergarten.
This is a disgrace.
Let's Reagan-up on this. Either do the job or you're out.
Incredible.
