Do It Now

Procrastination is a great strategy - if you ever get around to it.

Seriously, many things that we regret never doing are because we put them off. We tend to think there will be time later to do whatever it is, but that time doesn't come, we forget about it, or the opportunity no longer exists.

Therefore, when we see an opportunity we should act on it. It might be something like driving down a road not usually taken, taking a picture of something special, talking with someone we didn't think we might see, enjoying a sunset or sunrise, purchasing a pretty shirt or blouse that would look so good on us, playing catch with the kids, returning an email or phone message, or buying a ticket to a popular event.

We do best when we go ahead and seize an opportunity that we deem beneficial to us rather than waiting to do it later. The moment is frequently lost by waiting - sometimes never to return or at least not in the same way.
