Two hundred years. That's how long it's been since Abraham Lincoln was born.
Abraham Lincoln served as President during a seminal time of this country. He is oft-quoted and oft-held as the epitome for persistence and perseverence - having had so many challenges and failures on his way to a major success in his life.
The current political debate could take heed of what Lincoln had to say about our own abilities. Lincoln did not see the need for any government stimulus - and neither do I.
Lincoln said: “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.”
This is the key to free enterprise and the key to getting back on track economically. We're in a down cycle - that happens from time-to-time. However, we need look no farther than ourselves to solve it.
Happy birthday Abe, many more years of prosperity America.
