Interesting how old is now new

In an age when we are constantly upgrading - from typewiters to computers, faxes to texting, PDAs to smartphones, and so much else - that some things are actually being rediscovered.

For years, people in this country cooked on wood-burning stoves or hearths. Then that progressed to gas and electric.

Now, I'm hearing and seeing ads for restaurants proclaiming that they have "wood-fired" ovens. Amazing isn't it how a tried-and-true principle doesn't go out of style and that what was once considered old is now chic?
