"How's My Driving?" Never Mind, Don't Ask

I'm sure most of us have seen those decals on the back of business vehicles asking us to report them to the big, bad "800" number if their driving wasn't up-to-par.

I'm sure most drivers are courteous and this decal is redundant. But for the few who seem to have forgotten the rules of the road ....

This morning I was stopped at a traffic light behind some other vehicles. There was some space between me and the car in front of me, but it was less than one car length.

Before the light changed to green this utility vehicle with one of those "800" stickers on his bumper literally dove into the small space between me and car in front of me. What if I had decided to move closer to the car in front of me at that same moment?

As if his first stunt wasn't enough, this driver again demonstrated that he had no regard for his safety, the reputation of his company, or the safety of other drivers on the road when 2 blocks later he moved across 3 lanes of traffic - all at once - into the turn lane without so much as a turn signal.

So in answer to his question about how is driving is, it was great in driving me away from his company. If they have drivers like that, they don't need customers like me.
